Description
For several years, Rycote InVision mounts have been available for narrow-barrelled shotgun and stick microphones in broadcast and videography applications, but not until 2010, and the release of the striking Universal Studio Mount (USM) was there an InVision shock-mount capable of accommodating large-diaphragm recording microphones for use in recording studios.

Like the other InVision mounts, the USM-L makes use of Rycote's patented vibration-resistant Lyre mount, but on this mount the W-shaped Lyres are placed around a central mounting ring with adjustable fasteners, allowing the USM to accommodate microphone between 18 and 55 mm in diameter, and up to 400 grammes in weight.

The Rycote USM updates the concept of the microphone suspension for the 21st century, completely omitting any elasticated parts and using modern materials to create a virtually indestructible shock-mount with a performance that far outstrips that of the humble 'cat's cradle' suspension. In controlled tests at the Rycote factory, the USM provided up to twice the isolation of traditional microphone suspension systems.

  2. nady TCM 1050
The TCM-1050 is a multi-pattern large diaphragm valve condenser microphone. It is based around a selected 6072 vacuum tube. It has nine switchable patterns from the power suppy between omnidirectional to figure of eight. The TCM-1050 is ideal for recording vocals, acoustic instruments, orchestras, choral groups and room ambience.
  3. peluso VTB
The physical design of this exciting new microphone is inspired by the classic German Bottle Microphones. The VTB uses innovative Peluso circuitry with an extremely low noise floor and classic tube sound. It has a more modern sound with strong and clean low end, smooth detailed mid-range, and lots of high-end air. The VTB is stunning on vocals and brings a beautiful high-end emphasis to other instruments. The VTB features an on mic 15dB pad and low frequency roll off switches.

The Peluso VTB is paired with the Peluso MX-56 power supply. The dual sided capsule in the VTB enables the power supply to feature 9 polar patterns in an array from omni-directional to cardioid to figure eight. The VTB also has an additional switch to disable the pattern control system. This allows the mic to run just a single diaphragm in the capsule, giving it a mode with extremely pure cardioid characteristics.

The VTB comes with a 7-conductor cable with standard 7-pin XLR connector.

  16. peluso P12
Produced from 1953 to 1963, the C 12 is considered one of history's finest microphones. It was one of the first condenser microphones to provide remote switching between nine polar patterns. The dual blackplate of the 34mm edge-terminated CK12 (CEK12) capsule enabled this advancement. The heart of its amplifier stage is the warm and quiet 6072A glass triode vacuum tube. The amplifier circuitry and output transformer of our P-12 have been designed to match the vintage C 12. Carefully selected components, thorough testing, and attention to detail all come together in this beautiful full-bodied classic tube microphone. The P-12 faithfully reproduces the clarity, openness, and top-end air that made the C 12 one of the world's finest vocal microphones!
  17. peluso 22 251
Produced for Telefunken GmbH by AKG from 1960 to 1965, the ELA M 251 remains one of the rarest and most coveted of vintage microphones. While the 251 did not evolve very far from the C 12 there are a few key differences. They both employ a double-sided 34mm dual-backplate, edge-terminated gold-coated Mylar capsule and a 6072A glass triode tube. They both employ the T/14 output transformer. The circuitry differs in the way the tube grid and cathode are handled. This gives the 22 251 about 7 dB more gain than the P-12. Additionally, the head grille of the 251 is a little larger than the 12, altering the frequency response. Whether you choose the Peluso 22 251 or the P-12 you will have a microphone with the clarity, openness and top-end 'air' from these vintage legends!
  18. mojaveaudio MA 200
The MA-200 is a large diaphragm, vacuum tube condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid pattern. Born to a lineage of fine microphone designs by David Royer, the MA-200 gives warm, full-bodied reproductions of vocals and instruments, with none of the shrillness and high frequency distortion artifacts that are often encountered with modern condenser microphone
  19. peluso P Stereo
The P-Stereo is a large diaphragm stereo condenser microphone styled after the Neumann SM-69. It features two 34 mm dual sided, centre-terminated P-K69 capsules. The lower capsule is fixed while the top capsule can be rotated up to 90 degrees. Each capsule is switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight. It has a 10 dB attenuation pad. The P-Stereo is powered by its power supply, equipped with two XLR-3 outputs. It can also be powered by phantom power with slightly reduced SPL handling.
